This painting was done for a special exhibition, Jeongamsa, Hwayibudong in 2023. The exhibition is an annual exhibition to commemorate the designation of the Sumano Stupa at Jeongseon Jeongamsa as a national treasure of South Korea. Jeongamsa is a beautiful temple in Hambek Mountain in Jeongsun. Twelve Artists have visited the location to learn about the history and get inspired by the site. It was an exciting experience to be away from my familiar themes and open a fresh eye to a new landscape in front of me away from the busy world.
